Faith over Feeling

Oftentimes what I feel collides with what I know and what I feel, more times than not, overrides what I know. What about you? Are you able to walk by faith-even when it calls for you to put your emotions in check? I sure hope so. Check out this Lifeskills moment. I hope it helps you.

What You KNOW Has to Override What You FEEL

After we have taken the initiative to… learn new skills and healthy behaviors, we have to realize that what we now know has to override what we feel.  This means that even though we feel really angry, we know that we are triggered and can take time to process the situation instead of lashing out. This means that even if we feel all alone and worthless, we know that we have tremendous value and it will not be like this forever. Remind yourself of what you know in difficult situations, or reach out for reality checks if necessary.(LifeSkills)
